About Us

There was a season in my life when I wore sunglasses and glasses to hide more than my eyes… I was hiding pain. I was in a domestic violence situation, and my glasses became my shield.

People would always stop me and ask, “Where did you get your glasses from?” or tell me how much they loved them. And without hesitation, I would take the glasses right off my face and give them away. I didn’t realize it then, but even while I was hurting, I was still pouring into others.

Over time, people started calling me “the glasses girl.”

After that relationship ended, I had a garage sale and sold all of my glasses at a pop-up shop. What I thought was just me letting go of the past was really God preparing me for purpose.

A few years later, my daughter Alacey Ashley gifted me a wholesale collection of glasses and said, “Mom, this is your calling. People love when you frame them.”

And just like that, 2019 She’s Framed was born.

What started as my reality of pain slowly transformed into my dream. The very thing I once used to hide became the thing that now helps others feel seen, confident, and beautiful.

My reality became my vision.

My vision became my healing.

And my healing became my dream.

Looking back now, I understand that God was guiding me even when I couldn’t fully understand where life was taking me. Through every storm, every transition, and every moment of rebuilding, He was leading me into peace, purpose, and stillness.

“He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters.” Psalm 23:2
